Agriculture has been and remains one of the main sectors of the economy in Ukraine. LLC \u201cKobzarenko Plant\u201d is a leading Ukrainian enterprise manufacturing agricultural machinery. This year, LLC \u201cKobzarenko Plant\u201d celebrated its 20th anniversary.<\/strong> On the eve of Agricultural Workers\u2019 Day, we asked the plant\u2019s management to talk about its key achievements.<\/p>\n

In 2012, LLC \u201cKobzarenko Plant\u201d manufactured and sold products worth UAH 85 million. In the first ten months of 2013 alone, more than UAH 100 million worth of products had already been sold. Overall, the products of LLC \u201cKobzarenko Plant\u201d are supplied to Russia, Poland, Belarus, Finland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, and Georgia\u2014up to 20 countries in total.<\/p>\n

In November 2013, we will participate for the third time in the largest agro-industrial exhibition in Hanover (Germany), \u201cAgritechnica 2013,\u201d which is held once every two years. We plan to present our new development there\u2014a mobile electrified grain transfer station \u201cKovcheg\u201d BNP-12\/E with a grain transfer capacity of 6 tons per minute, the PBN-30 accumulation bunker, and the PT-16 self-loading bale trailer.<\/p>\n

In 2013, the plant launched serial production of water and slurry tanks with capacities from 6 to 26 cubic meters. In addition to the range of serially produced transfer bunkers (16, 20, and 30 cubic meters), a three-axle bunker PBN-40 with a capacity of 40 cubic meters was also put into production.<\/p>\n

By the end of 2013, the plant plans to increase the share of serial production of its main products to 40% and has launched new developments into production:
\n– trailed mineral fertilizer spreaders RMD with capacities of 8 and 6 tons;
\n– a belt-type stationary auger (for seed grain);
\n– the electrified \u201cKovcheg\u201d BNP-12\/E.<\/p>\n

Regarding investments: this year, construction of a new assembly workshop measuring 72 x 45 meters (over 3,000 square meters) was completed, and three utility buildings with locker rooms and showers were added.<\/p>\n

In 2013, a floor heating system was introduced in the new workshop, heated by geothermal energy. Pipes will be laid underground, where a special refrigerant will be heated to +8\u00b0C and, through a heat pump, will heat water circulating in the floor pipes to +50\u00b0C. As part of the enterprise modernization program, the largest investment in the plant\u2019s history was made\u2014a new European-level shot-blasting and painting chamber worth over EUR 350,000. Installation of this equipment will bring the plant\u2019s product painting quality up to the level of European counterparts.<\/p>\n

Analyzing 2012 and 2013 in terms of how these achievements were reached, I can say it was not easy. Not everything mentioned at the beginning came easily. However, the overall results of the plant\u2019s work have erased all difficulties from memory\u2014hard challenges of implementing new technologies or quality standards. Today, the enterprise is certified by one of Europe\u2019s leading certification centers, QECON, spol. s r.o., Banska Bystrica, Slovenia, which enables us to enter European markets with our products. We have not only manufactured and sold products\u2014we have conquered new markets, becoming number one in Ukraine in the field of agricultural transport machinery manufacturing. One could say that from scratch, in the town of Lypova Dolyna in the Sumy region, the plant\u2014LLC \u201cKobzarenko Plant\u201d\u2014has grown, employing 450 people.<\/p>\n

Summing up, I can say that LLC \u201cKobzarenko Plant\u201d has fully established itself\u2014as Plant No. 1 in Ukraine for the production of tractor trailers; as a team of like-minded people numbering 450; and as an industrial enterprise that, even amid industrial decline in the country, shows steady growth and does not consume its profits but invests in the future\u2014investing in equipment, production and utility facilities, and implementing new technologies in manufacturing and energy supply.<\/p>\n
