The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.<\/p>\n<p>The enemy carried out more than 20 guided aerial bomb (KAB) strikes, more than 10 UAV strikes, 10 VOG grenade drops from UAVs, as well as FPV drone strikes and missile strikes on the territory of the Sumy region.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of Russian shelling of the region, civilians were injured:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the Shalyhyne community, a 63-year-old man was injured as a result of an FPV drone strike;<\/li>\n<li>In the city of Sumy, a 63-year-old man was injured as a result of a UAV strike. He is a security guard at an enterprise that was hit by one of the enemy drones. Updated information: the number of injured as a result of the enemy night attack on Sumy on September 22 has increased to two.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Medical personnel provided assistance; the injured are receiving outpatient treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in the Shalyhyne community, a private passenger car was destroyed;<\/li>\n<li>in the Bilopillia community, a private household, a private car, and a tractor were damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Seredyna-Buda community, a private household was destroyed;<\/li>\n<li>in the Richky community, a private household was damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Sumy community, non-residential premises, educational institution buildings, multi-storey residential buildings, and private cars were damaged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>More details.<\/p>\n<p>Last night, as a result of an enemy attack in Sumy, six multi-storey residential buildings were damaged. Two non-residential buildings were also damaged. In total, about 400 windows were shattered.<\/p>\n<p>We remind you that three Russian UAVs struck Sumy on the night of September 22. As a result of one of the hits, a school was damaged. Two people were also injured.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives of the emergency response headquarters will be working at School No. 20, where those affected will receive consultations and submit applications for inspection of damaged housing. You should bring original documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>of the owner of the damaged property (passport, taxpayer identification number);<\/li>\n<li>technical passport;<\/li>\n<li>a document confirming ownership of the damaged housing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Evacuation<\/h3>\n<p>Over the course of the day, local authorities, together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and public organizations, evacuated one person from border communities.<\/p>\n<h3>Holiday<\/h3>\n<p>September 22 is the Day of Partisan Glory of Ukraine. This day was established to honor the heroism of Ukrainian partisans and underground fighters during World War II. Their courage, strength of spirit, and self-sacrifice became an example of resilience and love for the Motherland. Today, during the full-scale war, brave people continue to resist the armed enemy in temporarily occupied territories of Russia, reminding that it is on Ukrainian land.<\/p>\n<h3>Life<\/h3>\n<p>Last week, 12 children were born at the Municipal Nonprofit Enterprise \u201cClinical Perinatal Center of the Blessed Virgin Mary.\u201d An equal number of girls and boys were born.
