{"id":272946,"date":"2025-09-14T11:52:11","date_gmt":"2025-09-14T08:52:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vsisumy.com\/14-veresnja-shho-stalos-u-sumah-i-sumskij-oblasti-u-nedilju\/"},"modified":"2025-12-24T22:46:02","modified_gmt":"2025-12-24T20:46:02","slug":"14-veresnja-shho-stalos-u-sumah-i-sumskij-oblasti-u-nedilju","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vsisumy.com\/en\/14-veresnja-shho-stalos-u-sumah-i-sumskij-oblasti-u-nedilju\/","title":{"rendered":"September 14: what happened in Sumy and the Sumy region on Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"old_post\">\n<h3>War with Russia<\/h3>\n<p>During the day, from the morning of September 13 to the morning of September 14, 2025, Russian troops carried out 104 shelling attacks on 56 settlements in 16 territorial communities of the region.<\/p>\n<p>The enemy used more than 20 guided aerial bomb (KAB) strikes, up to 20 VOG grenade drops from UAVs, up to 10 UAV strikes, and carried out missile strikes and FPV drone attacks on the territory of the Sumy region.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of Russian shelling of the region, fortunately, there were no civilians injured.<\/p>\n<p>Objects of civilian infrastructure were damaged or destroyed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in the Sumy community, window glazing in an apartment building was damaged, three passenger cars and private residential houses were damaged, and two houses were destroyed;<\/li>\n<li>in the Seredyna-Buda community, a private house was damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Shalyhyne community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Putyvl community, two private houses were damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Bilopillia community, a non-residential building was damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Vorozhba community, a non-residential building was damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Mykolaiv rural community, two private residential houses were damaged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Situation on the border with Russia<\/h3>\n<p>The advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Kostiantynivka of the Khotin community was marked on the DeepState map. Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that in August, in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine liberated 4 km\u00b2 of territory. Also, a few days ago, Syrskyi stated (https:\/\/t.me\/kordonmedia\/18996) that the Russian offensive operation against Sumy had been completely thwarted.<\/p>\n<h3>Defense and security<\/h3>\n<p>Drones attack border communities every day. That is why anti-drone protection is being installed on roads used by civilians. As of today, more than 70 km of roads have already been equipped with anti-drone nets.
