The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.<\/p>\n<p>The enemy used more than 20 guided aerial bomb (KAB) strikes, 10 VOG grenade drops from UAVs, up to 10 UAV strikes, and carried out a missile strike and FPV drone attacks on the territory of the Sumy region.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of Russian shelling of the region, civilians were injured. In the Mykolaiv rural community, a 19-year-old female passenger was injured after a car was hit by a strike drone. She was hospitalized, and doctors provided medical assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Objects of civilian infrastructure were damaged or destroyed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in the Sumy community, a religious building, civilian infrastructure facilities, non-residential buildings, two private residential houses, and transport were damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Velyka Pysarivka community, civilian infrastructure facilities and one private household were damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Druzhba community, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Bilopillia community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>in the Mykolaiv rural community, one private household was damaged and a non-residential building was destroyed; other non-residential buildings were damaged.<\/p>\n<p>Details.<\/p>\n<p>On the morning of September 12, Russian forces struck the industrial zone (service station) on the outskirts of Sumy with strike UAVs. A fire broke out at the site of the attack; vehicles and non-residential buildings were damaged.<br \/>A 65-year-old security guard may have been present there. His body was found under the rubble.<\/p>\n<p>Also on Friday morning, Russian forces attacked, preliminarily with three missiles, a village in the Bytytsia starosta district. Two residents were killed, and at least five people were injured. Among those wounded as a result of the missile strike on Bytytsia were two women aged 75 and 62. There is destruction and damage in the residential sector.<\/p>\n<p>Also today, the enemy struck a car in one of the villages of the Putyvl community. As a result of the hit, the vehicle was destroyed. No people were injured.<\/p>\n<h3>Situation on the border with Russia<\/h3>\n<p>Situation on the frontline in the Sumy direction as of September 11:<\/p>\n<p>The enemy did not achieve success in advancing or assault operations. The Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled all attacks. This was reported to Kordon.Media from its own sources.<\/p>\n<p>Enemy troops are present in the following communities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Khotin community: Novomykolaivka, Oleksiivka, Kostiantynivka, and Bilovody;<\/li>\n<li>Yunakivka community: Yablunivka, Basivka, Yunakivka, Loknia, and Sadky;<\/li>\n<li>Krasnopillia community: Prokhody and Mar\u2019yine;<\/li>\n<li>Bilopillia community: Holyshivske.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Evacuation<\/h3>\n<p>Over the course of the day, local authorities, together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and public organizations, evacuated 9 people from border communities.<\/p>\n<h3>Day of Mourning<\/h3>\n<p>In the Sumy municipal territorial community, today, September 12, a Day of Mourning has been declared for those killed as a result of enemy attacks on Sumy and the Bytytsia starosta district.<\/p>\n<h3>Traitor<\/h3>\n<p>A 41-year-old archpriest of one of the churches of the UOC (MP), in his free time from religious services, spied on Ukrainian defenders and sent the occupiers information about the locations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The enemy was particularly interested in the coordinates of air defense systems in Shostka and the Shostka district. During a search, pro-Kremlin literature and a smartphone with evidence of cooperation with the enemy were found in the archpriest\u2019s possession.
