The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.<\/p>\n<p>Settlements in the following communities came under enemy fire: Sumy, Stepanivka, Krasnopillia, Mykolaiv rural, Myropillia, Khotin, Bilopillia, Yunakivka, Seredyna-Buda, Svesa, Hlukhiv, Shalyhyne, Znob-Novhorodske, Esman, Velyka Pysarivka, Putyvl, and Novoslobidska.<\/p>\n<p>The enemy used up to 20 guided aerial bomb (KAB) strikes, up to 30 VOG grenade drops from UAVs, up to 10 UAV strikes, and carried out ballistic missile strikes, FPV drone attacks, and MLRS strikes on the territory of the Sumy region.<\/p>\n<p>Objects of civilian infrastructure were damaged or destroyed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in the Mykolaiv rural community, four residential houses were damaged and a garage was destroyed;<\/li>\n<li>in the Znob-Novhorodske community, a car, a truck, and a tractor were damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Krasnopillia community, a private house and a car were damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Bilopillia community, an administrative building and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged, along with its property \u2014 a tractor and a minibus;<\/li>\n<li>in the Vorozhba community, window glazing in an apartment building and a car were damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Stepanivka community, a truck was damaged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a result of Russian shelling of the region, there were killed and injured civilians:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the Putyvl community, as a result of an enemy UAV attack on a civilian tent camp on the outskirts, a 51-year-old woman was killed. Also in the Putyvl community, seven people were injured, including an 8-year-old boy. The injured also included two women born in 1986 and 1999, and four men born in 1976, 1986, 1987, and 1996;<\/li>\n<li>In the Krasnopillia community, a man born in 1968 was injured as a result of an enemy drone hitting a car;<\/li>\n<li>In the Stepanivka community, as a result of a UAV hitting a truck, three people born in 1982, 1983, and 1994 were injured.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In total, 11 civilians were injured as a result of Russian strikes during the day.<\/p>\n<p>At night, drones struck an agricultural enterprise in the Stepanivka community. As a result of the shelling, three employees were injured while transporting agricultural products. A truck was also damaged.<\/p>\n<p>On September 7 at around 10:30, an enemy UAV hit a five-story apartment building in Sumy but did not explode. As a result of the impact, windows and balcony frames were damaged. No one was injured.<\/p>\n<h3>Situation on the border with Russia<\/h3>\n<p>Situation on the frontline in the Sumy direction as of September 6:<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, the Defense Forces of Ukraine achieved successes in three communities at once. In the Bilopillia community near Bezsalivka and Volfyne; in Kindrativka, Oleksiivka, and Novomykolaivka of the Khotin community; as well as in the Yunakivka community in Yablunivka, Varachyne, Yunakivka, and Sadky. In addition, there were successes in Russia\u2019s Kursk region. This was reported to Kordon.Media from its own sources.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, Russian forces did not achieve success in advancing or assault operations.
