The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.<\/p>\n<p>The enemy carried out 30 VOG grenade drops from UAVs, up to 10 guided aerial bomb (KAB) strikes, and conducted FPV drone and UAV attacks on the territory of Sumy region.<\/p>\n<p>In the Bilopillia community, a man born in 2000 was injured as a result of an explosive device dropped from an enemy UAV.<\/p>\n<p>Objects of civilian infrastructure were damaged or destroyed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in the Buryn community, one private house was damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Seredyna-Buda community, three apartment buildings were damaged;<\/li>\n<li>in the Stepanivka community, private residential houses were damaged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On June 28, Russian forces struck one of the villages of the Stepanivka community. As a result of the enemy strike, a fire broke out in a residential house. Household items caught fire. The blaze was promptly extinguished. No people were injured.<\/p>\n<h3>Evacuation<\/h3>\n<p>Over the past day, local authorities together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police, and public organizations evacuated 41 people from border communities.<\/p>\n<h3>Situation on the border with the Russian Federation<\/h3>\n<p>The Defense Forces of Ukraine achieved successes in the areas of Kindrativka, Oleksiivka, and Novomykolaivka of the Khotin community, as well as in the areas of Yablunivka, Varachyne, Yunakivka, and Sadky of the Yunakivka community.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Russian troops continue offensive actions in the directions of Oleksiivka and Novomykolaivka of the Khotin community, as well as Yablunivka, Yunakivka, and Sadky of the Yunakivka community. Enemy personnel have been recorded in the following settlements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Khotin community: Volodymyrivka, Novomykolaivka, Kindrativka, Oleksiivka, Kostiantynivka, Zhuravka, Bilovody, Stepne, and Andriivka;<\/li>\n<li>Yunakivka community: Yablunivka, Basivka, Loknia, Yunakivka, and Sadky;<\/li>\n<li>Myropillia community: Oleksandriia;<\/li>\n<li>Krasnopillia community: Mariine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cMost people perceive stabilization in the Sumy direction as unchanged positions on the map, but we should not forget that every hour of this \u2018stability\u2019 means \u2018200\u2019 and \u2018300\u2019 among our soldiers. Heavy fighting continues. Every day. Every hour,\u201d \u2014 a serviceman with the call sign \u201cOsman\u201d (\u201cSniper Speaks\u201d).<\/p>\n<h3>Holiday<\/h3>\n<p>On June 28, Ukraine celebrated Constitution Day \u2014 one of the key state holidays. The Constitution is the heart of Ukrainian statehood. It shapes the legal foundations, protects the dignity of every citizen, and defines the direction of the country\u2019s development. It is a symbol of our choice: to be free, to live in a rule-of-law state, and to adhere to the principles of justice, democracy, and equality. The Constitution stands for dignity, justice, and freedom.
