Leaders of the best agricultural enterprises, banking institutions, and government officials are graduates of SNAU.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On April 27, one of the most powerful agricultural universities in Ukraine \u2013 Sumy National Agrarian University \u2013 will celebrate the 35th anniversary of its founding. During this time, the university has gained prestigious national status. Starting with three core specialties, the list has expanded to more than 20 specialties covering all the most important areas of life. It can be stated that today the faculty, graduates, and students of SNAU influence not only agriculture but also the overall development of the region.<\/p>\n

Thanks to excellent living conditions in the university’s modern dormitories, rural youth from all over the Sumy region have the opportunity to receive a quality education without leaving their hometowns. Practical training of students takes place through cooperation agreements with agro-enterprises, farms, and financial institutions. Junior students are involved in the workflow to acquire necessary skills, while senior students immediately take so-called supervisory positions such as agronomist, foreman, or assistant to the chief specialist. This way, students adapt to their future workplaces under real production conditions with real tasks. Everyone benefits from this: the student becomes a highly qualified specialist, the university provides students with promising employment, and the employer receives exactly the specialist needed for a particular enterprise. \u201cThis is the best training method under modern conditions,\u201d says SNAU Rector Volodymyr Ladyka. An additional employment opportunity is the annual job fair.<\/p>\n

The university has established active cooperation with the best agricultural enterprises in the country, such as “Myronivsky Khliboprodukt,” “Urozhaina Kraina,” “Charivnyi Svitanok,” “Druzhba-Nova,” the Trostianets enterprise “Mayak,” the Hlukhiv enterprise “Veleten,” and the Konotop enterprise “Vitchyzna.”<\/p>\n

In the Sumy region, more than 90% of agricultural enterprises are led by SNAU graduates and its structural units, and some graduates hold leadership positions in government agencies and banking institutions. These include Sumy region deputy governors Oleksandr Tsupro and Mykola Derkach, Head of the Main Department of Agro-Industrial Complex of the Sumy Regional State Administration Volodymyr Ivchenko and his deputy Volodymyr Shakhov, Deputy Head of the Sumy Regional Council Oleg Boyarintsev, Head of the Sumy branch of OTP Bank Kyrylo Diakonov, FAO food organization analyst Andriy Yarmak, Deputy Head of the Main Department of Economics of the RSA Serhii Brazhenko, Director of the Northeast Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences Viktor Kabanets, Director of Sumy Biofactory Viktor Sobol, and Director of the Institute of Clinical Veterinary Medicine in Kyiv Serhii Nychyk. \u201cWe are proud of our graduates who are developing the agricultural sector of the Sumy region and Ukraine as a whole,\u201d concludes Volodymyr Ladyka.<\/p>\n
