The enemy used nearly 20 guided aerial bomb (KAB) strikes, 10 MLRS attacks, 30 UAV strikes, more than 10 VOG grenade drops from UAVs, and carried out FPV drone strikes on the territory of the Sumy region.

As a result of Russian shelling of the region, civilians were injured:

  • In the Bezdrik community, a 66-year-old woman was injured due to a UAV strike;
  • In the Shalyhyne community, a 55-year-old man was injured by an FPV drone strike.

More details.

Between October 1 and 2, Russia carried out a series of massive strikes on the Konotop community. Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged, and a large-scale fire broke out, with non-residential buildings burning. Due to the threat of repeated attacks, rescuers were unable to fully eliminate the consequences. However, despite all difficulties, State Emergency Service personnel localized all fire hotspots.

As a result of hostile attacks by the Russian Federation on critical infrastructure, more than 18,000 consumers in the Krolevets community and 719 subscribers in the Popivka community of the Konotop district were left without electricity. The Shostka district was also left without power due to enemy strikes.

Together with the defenders, 20 civilians were also returned home.
