Thus, a modern stage was set up where the festive events took place. And there was plenty to see! The celebration was a great success! Children were entertained by animators; there were various attractions, trampolines, treats were offered, and it was possible to take photos near symbolic autumn figures and stands — everything one expects at a cheerful modern village celebration, where people know how to work and how to relax. Moreover, according to religious beliefs, the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God is a bright holiday that symbolizes the arrival of autumn and the beginning of preparation for winter. On this day, people danced in circles, looked for a partner, and organized cheerful games and feasts.
Thus, the holiday in Oleksiivka was held joyfully. First, a godfather and godmother, performed by local amateur actors, invited the head of the Khotin ATC, Mykola Torianyk, to give a welcoming speech. He awarded the best residents of Oleksiivka for their work for the benefit of the community. The residents of Oleksiivka were also congratulated by local agricultural producers Vasyl Yelnikov and Oleksandr Holovko, who presented carpets and an aquarium to the children; the chief physician of the Central District Clinical Hospital, Volodymyr Potseluiev, from whom the community received an icon and a children’s computer as gifts; the head of the Stetskivka Village Council, Ihor Vernichenko; and community elders Mykola Dotsenko and Oleksandr Kolomiichuk.
After that, there was a concert featuring artists from the regional philharmonic as well as local amateur performers — from the youngest kindergarten children and school pupils to older participants. Everyone performed excellently and deservedly received applause from grateful spectators. The celebration concluded with a disco and a fire show.
