Athletes from Konotop won prize places at regional athletics competitions
On December 8, regional athletics competitions were held in the city of Sumy, the Konotop City Council reports. Teams from Sumy, Okhtyrka, Lebedyn, Shostka, Bilopillia, Romny, and Konotop took part.
Athletes of the Konotop Youth Sports School won:
Three first places:
Roman Klymenko – 50 m sprint
Anastasiia Palamarchuk – 800 m run
Maksym Zaitsev – long jump
Two second places:
Maksym Zaitsev – 50 m sprint
Alina Maliukh – long jump
Two third places:
Alina Maliukh – 200 m run
Kostiantyn Zymnii – 200 m run
The athletes were prepared for the competitions by coaches Tetiana Mazura and Olha Palamarchuk.
