The Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine is open to everyone!

1.Under the “wing” of the National Bank. There are three words in the name of our educational institution that enable us to work with students according to the highest European standards — “NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE.” The Academy is an educational institution that operates within the system of the country’s main bank. Thanks to funding from the NBU, we have a powerful material and technical base: excellent academic buildings and a superb library in the city center, cutting-edge technologies, the most comfortable dormitories, and sports facilities built to international standards.

2. Education, not a queue for a diploma. The main goal of the Academy is to provide modern, high-quality education for one hundred percent professional employment. We value the Academy’s diploma so highly that we issue it only together with knowledge. Here, you will truly have to study!

3.The most economical expenses in Ukraine. Today, out of 1,500 students, about 40% study at the expense of the NBU (state-funded places). If you enroll in the Academy on a commercial basis, the tuition fee does not change throughout the entire period of study and is the lowest in Ukraine. Moreover, you can pay tuition monthly! We guarantee the absence of any hidden fees. Accommodation in a dormitory costs 160 hryvnias per month. Lunch in our cafeterias costs only 10 hryvnias. Everything else for those studying at the Academy is free of charge.

4. Latest information technologies. Classrooms are equipped with computers based on dual-core Intel Pentium processors and the Windows 8 operating system. The Academy pays special attention to IT equipment of the training bank, training enterprise, financial and analytical center, dealing room, and CISCO Academy. Library premises are equipped with facilities for teleconferences and simultaneous interpretation. All computer labs, the library, and dormitory rooms have access to high-speed Internet.

5. Internships in Europe. With the support of the NBU, the Academy provides free internships for students in leading European countries. Every year, our students:

– undertake internships at financial and credit institutions, tax administrations, and entrepreneurship development centers in Poland;

– become acquainted with the activities of the National Bank, the Banking Association, and the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic;

– attend courses at the Deutsche Bundesbank, the central bank of Germany;

– participate in educational seminars on banking, corporate governance, accounting, and auditing at universities in Rome, Naples, and Pisa (Italy).

Bachelor’s students also have the opportunity to study under a master’s program in corporate governance at the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration.

6. Job and career guarantee. Our graduates can choose an employer while still studying in senior years and during internships in banks, insurance companies, trade and manufacturing enterprises, state regulatory bodies, and more. Demand for graduates of UABS of the NBU increases year by year.

7. Super dormitories. Dormitories are a source of pride for our students. There are no cases of refusal of accommodation. Rooms are designed for two or three people and furnished with modern, comfortable furniture. Students have access to kitchens, cafeterias, utility rooms with washing machines, assembly halls, and recreation rooms.

8.World-class sports. The Academy promotes a healthy lifestyle and actively supports athletes. Our students have access to 11 gyms, a modern swimming pool, a tennis court, sports grounds, and more. About 20 sports sections operate, including athletics, basketball, volleyball, football, indoor hockey, handball, swimming, aerobics, tennis, aqua aerobics, archery, biathlon, and others.

9.Stylish recreation! Students enjoy visiting the modern song studio and rehearsals of contemporary, folk, and ballroom dance groups. The university’s KVN movement is especially famous for its achievements. The KVN team “Hard Drives” became the winner of the All-Ukrainian KVN Teams Festival of AKU, winning the Super Cup. Young journalists actively participate in publishing the newspaper “AkadeMikh,” while drama actors hone their skills in the theater studio “Kurazh.”

10. Own clinic. Near the Academy’s academic buildings there is an in-house clinic where students can improve their health free of charge. Specialists include a therapist, neurologist, obstetrician-gynecologist, ophthalmologist, otolaryngologist, dermatovenerologist, and dentist. The facility has its own modern laboratory, physiotherapy, treatment, balneology, massage rooms, a functional diagnostics room, and a therapeutic swimming pool. Regular medical examinations of students are conducted.
