“Major Report”: deputies from the Servant of the People party summed up the results of their first year of work in Sumy region

A year ago, residents of Sumy region supported 365 candidates from the Servant of the People party, who became deputies at various levels and heads of communities. Throughout December, at the initiative of party leader Olena Shuliak, all of them have been reporting on the results of their work. “Our deputies influenced decisions important for communities and fulfilled their campaign promises. Everyone has something to be proud of and something to continue working on. Overall, thanks to a completed vertical — from local deputies to the president — the Servant of the People team managed to implement many social initiatives. With the support of Members of Parliament, a significant amount of budget funds was directed to Sumy region. This includes the purchase of school buses, emergency vehicles, medical equipment, and supplies for schools. Within the framework of the ‘Large Construction’ program, 6 outpatient clinics in districts were completed, 200 km of national roads, 150 km of local roads, and 51 bridges on them were repaired. Admission departments in reference hospitals were renovated, and schools, stadiums, and kindergartens were upgraded. There is still much work ahead,” said Mykhailo Ananchenko, head of the regional organization of the Servant of the People political party, in his speech. Deputies of the Servant of the People faction in the Sumy City Council reported on equipped sports facilities, the launch of the “Safe City” project, and the “revived” participatory budget. According to Sumy City Council Secretary Oleh Reznik, special attention was also paid to the education sector, including the renovation of schools and kindergartens, in particular their cafeterias. Regional representatives from the Servant of the People party, of whom there are 16 in Sumy region, focused their efforts in the first year of their term on the development of healthcare. The largest project is the reconstruction of the oncology dispensary. “We have a unique project to build an oncology center. Residents of Sumy region will receive treatment here completely free of charge. To date, the reconstruction of the surgical building of the facility has already been completed,” said Viktor Fedorchenko, head of the Regional Council. In the Sumy district, they managed to preserve almost all infrastructure facilities, and budget funds were allocated to support communities. Everyone present had the opportunity to personally communicate with their deputy, hear answers to questions, and submit their proposals. In conclusion, the head of the regional organization thanked every resident of the region for their trust, dedication, patience, and support.
